Drill Steps

Isolate one arm with a two-on-one grip.

  • Bring their elbow across your centerline.

Place the same-side foot on their hip.

  • Push off the hip to create an angle.

Climb your free leg up to their armpit.

  • Align your body with their isolated arm.

Block their head with your free hand.

  • Prevent them from posturing up.

Pass your other leg over their head.

  • Secure their head with your leg.

Squeeze your knees together.

  • Pinch your heels towards your glutes.

Grip their wrist with both hands.

  • Ensure their thumb points upwards.

Extend your hips towards the sky.

  • Finish the armbar submission.
