Drill Steps

Establish a deep lockdown position.

  • Ensure your opponent is on top.

Pull your opponent's body overhead.

  • Bring your knees up towards your head.
  • Use the push-pull action of your lockdown.
  • Lift them with your hands below their armpits.

Sit up and secure your grip.

  • Keep your lockdown figure-four tight.
  • Reach your arm over their leg, palm out.

Position your shin on their calf.

  • Turn your shin blade into their calf.

Apply pressure to finish the slicer.

  • Pull their leg towards your body.
  • Grab their toes for a stronger finish.
