Drill Steps

Establish the frame.

  • Turn on your side
  • Get an underhook with one arm
  • With the other arm block on the bicep

For better underhook.

  • Point your elbow under their armpit
  • Use that space to swing your arm and get the underhook

Build a strong base.

  • Swing your leg
  • Use your elbow for balance
  • Bring your knee below your body

Take your partner down.

  • Tap their knee to prevent posting
  • Drive forward with your head below their chin
  • Pin into side control
