Drill Steps

Grab your opponent's lapel.

  • Get a deep grip on their collar
  • Push their head down towards your armpit

Place your free hand flat.

  • Position your hand flat on their head or neck
  • Prepare your hand to slide underneath

Slide your flat hand underneath your own forearm.

  • Ensure your hand goes under your gripping arm
  • Create a tight loop around their neck

Apply simultaneous pressure to finish.

  • Pull up with your lapel grip
  • Push down with your flat hand
