Drill Steps

Establish powerful grips on opponent's pants.

  • Grab the cuff just above the shins.
  • Avoid outside or inside grips to prevent spider or lasso.

  • Make their hips light for easy manipulation.

Circulate around opponent's legs with active footwork.

  • Maintain a low posture.

  • Drive their hips to one side.

  • Establish a strong knee-on-belly.

  • Place your shoulder on their chest for weight distribution.
